Creating Keepsakes Expo!

I was so lucky to be a vendor at the Creating Keepsakes Convention in Bellevue this year. We had a Close To My Heart Booth that I led, and we generated over 500 new potential customers! We had a fun make n’ take project, had celebrity sightings, and got to shop smile

I’m back!

Since I haven’t posted in just about a year to the day… I thought a little bio about ME was in order. My name is Carrie Haines and I have been scrapbooking since 1999. I needed a creative hobby besides teaching Kindergarten full time, and I wanted to preserve my wedding memories. I never thought that almost 8 years later I would STILL love scrapbooking, and have a whole room dedicated to creating and stashing my fun tools and Acrylix stamps. I have 2.9 children, Annalise (4), Jack (2) and a baby on the way due any minute (Dec. 2006). My husband works in the computer industry and I am lucky enough to stay home with the kiddos, and pursue my own scrapbook/stamping business and be crafty! I love working with simple cardstock, inks, embellishments, and collecting more artsy STUFF. My favorite scrapbook supplies include the basics- cardstock, my new Making Memories trimmer, tombow adhesive runners, and cardstock-weight stickers and bumpy embellishments. I don’t think I will ever run out of photos to scrap- still working on several trips to Europe, 3 children’s baby books, and many more! I love chocolate, macaroni and cheese, Twix candy bars, sitting in my pajamas watching Grey’s Anatomy, and chocolate cream Frappucinos from Starbucks. All of these things and sitting amongst my children and my scrapbook stuff make me the happiest!

Visit my website if you can, there are some GREAT promotions going on right now!
