Creating Keepsakes Convention and Tim Holtz’s Grungeboard

I am super excited to attend the Creating Keepsakes Expo tomorrow in Bellevue. I’ve got my layout ready to submit for the page contest, my bag packed of basic supplies, and my class list. I am taking a class on how to get the most out of your scrappin’ supplies (I NEED this, since I am the ultimate collector of stuff!) and another one creating a magnetic calendar. I’ve always wanted to create a cool, artsy perpetual calendar using a cookie sheet- here is my chance. Also, as usual, I’m always looking to see the trends and what’s new. I came across this neat product called Grungeboard by Tim Holtz that I am looking forward to seeing in person. It is a flexible chipboard that you can ink up, paint, distress, alter, but it doesn’t give under the pressure of bending. I watched this video below of how it works, and it looks pretty fabulous.
